Here are some pictures I took wandering around Katowice, Poland in Sep. 2012.
↑ For some reason I found it hilarious. to watch this pigeon wandering around the train station, just like a person.
↑ The ticket windows. The lines have never been long when I was there.
↑ The train station is to the right, the blue building. This is only the temporary station, as they're massively remodeling the complex.
↑ As all over Poland, there is fantastic street art.
↑ Look a little closer...
↑ Ah, the fame of TWINPIGS has spread far and wide!
↑ There was a political rally in the park.
↑ Clearly not a pro-Russian gathering.
↑ I've gotten a little braver about wandering into these courtyards that are set off the street. No-one has bothered me yet.
↑ I wish it was possible to take more pictures of people, but I've found that people here don't really like being photographed.
↑ More street art.
↑ Saddest shoe store display of all time.
↑ Back at the station, almost ready for my midnight train.
↑ Now that's sleeping rough.
↑ After 12 hours wandering around, at last, the midnight train to Prague.
